About Me

I grew up in the southern United States. My parents raised me in the country. During the holidays, we attended several family gatherings. My dad had eight brothers and sisters. So, whenever we attended one of his family’s functions, we had the opportunity to mingle with a lot of people. Now that both of my dad’s parents are deceased, the family no longer gathers at my grandparents’ old home. In fact, the house was torn down recently. Nowadays, the large group prefers to meet at a nearby church’s activities building or at a favorite restaurant. The food and fellowship are always special regardless of where we decide to go.
